HEY! You there, you reading this:
You wanna hate the rich? Like more than you undoubtedly deservedly already do?
Come here, I got something for you…

oh, its just a paper cup you’d say
nope, its china, this is $95 for a pair
not the most egregious thing to be fair…
so how bout this?

a $175 single golf tee
or maybe:

a $350 dollar miniature Chinese food box
not your taste?

howabout 10 legos for 15 hundred dollars?
or

perhaps a harmonica that renders the player utterly incapable of playing blues or folk music?
maybe not,

howbout a thousand dollar tin can?
not egregious enough?

try this $350 dollar gold crazy straw.
still not pissed?
then i’m sure you won’t blink at this:

9 THOUSAND DOLLAR PURE SILVER BALL OF FUCKING YARN
anyways this has been my presentation of why we should guillotine rich people, thank you.
Y’all haven’t seen unnecessary opulence til you’ve seen the gold plated gem studded monopoly game
#fucking christ #do you think they sell gillotines at Ikea - @ariaste
You’d think so, but they’ve asked me to stop putting that into their suggestion box.
As ridiculous as this is let people spend their money on what they want. Everyone wants to scream eat the rich but not when theyre buying 500 dollar exculsive nike’s or a 2000 dollar jacket from fucking Gucci. Like do you really need the new 1000 dollar iphone every year or to go to a club and spend 20 on entrance and 100 on drinks every fucking weekend. Most people are a lot more rich than they realize.
Lmao no. What world do you live in? Most Americans earn less than $60k a year.
I don’t know what you’re trying to argue, but I live in the same world as you 👀
Most people are not “wealthier than they think”. Wealth is more in relation to how much you have in the bank and earn. If you are earning less than $60k a year like half of Americans are you aren’t wealthy by a long shot. Middle class perhaps.
But also most people aren’t dropping $500 for a pair of shoes or $2,000 for a jacket. Maybe some are after saving a lot, but most don’t. That iPhone or Samsung is likely also paid over a multi year payment plan costing them very little over that time. I’m personally typing my response to you on my Google Pixel 4 because I don’t have the money to drop for a new iPhone or Samsung while in school and working full time.
I personally say eat the rich because even earning $54k a year I can’t afford a one bedroom apartment in the city where I live with just my cat and I.
I say eat the rich when Amazon isn’t paying taxes and Jeff Bezos who is absurdly wealthy is asking the public to donate so that his employees can get sick leave rather than providing that himself.
We say eat the rich because the health care lobbiests shelled out millions of dollars to politicians to ensure that we don’t get universal health care and Americans continue to die from lack or inadequate healthcare.
We say eat the rich because as the rich have seen their income exponentially increase the average worker has not seen their income increase.
We say eat the rich because over the years a lot of benefits have been slowly cut to privatize retirement and get rid of pensions causing many Americans to not have much of a safety net in their elderly years.
We say eat the rich because in the wealthiest country in the world we still have millions of Americans either homeless, food insecure, or one missed paycheck away from being in that situation meanwhile we don’t have universal health care, paid parental leave, less paid vacation time, and our voting rights are slowly stripped away each year. We have less conveniences of being a citizen than most other countries. Yet we have all of this money for wars to topple other governments. We have all this money to shoot citizens down with drones. We have all of this money for Trump to golf most weekends.
Most Americans will never have actual wealth. You can’t just pretend you have more money than you actually have.
Hey whoever is spending $2,000 for a jacket… Drop your location I just wanna talk
